Another big danger is the nimble Fafnir with the Belov pilot, which allows it to completely bypass the Aegis shield or in its 5 seconds of Absorber close the distance between it and the Erebus and destroy it easily. A Scorpion or Revenant could easily stay inside the Aegis shield and with Sonic weapons completely devastate the Erebus' small health pool beyond repair, or easily melt it using Acid or Flamethrowers. The main deterrents of the Erebus are Teleporting robots and robots with a high-damaging built-in weapon. Due to the strength of its Aegis shield, it is possible to get into closer ranged fights with weapons which have decent range and still have brawling potential. Another con of this trait is that enemies with Shieldbreaker pose a massive threat to the Erebus, once again forcing Erebus commanders to stay close to cover.Įrebus' low health pool, average ground speed and 800m ability range leave no doubt that it is intended to be a mid-long range support or sniper class. While this is on one hand a great advantage as the majority of the Erebus's defences can be regenerated, this means that an Erebus player must make sure that there is cover handy so that they can regenerate the shield. The Erebus relies heavily on its Aegis shield for protection, as it doesn't boast a very high health pool. ![]() If you can't afford the triple Prisma setup, just use Thunders or high-leveled Kang Daes. When it is fully depleted, it will only reactivate when it has been regenerated to 20% durability.įor Erebus, its best to use the triple Prisma setup (if you can) and also use Phase Shift with three nuclear reactors. The shield regenerates passively at a rate of 3% per second (verification needed). It starts off at level one with a very impressive 60,000 durability - only the defensive-oriented robot Bulwark matches Erebus with such a strong Aegis shield. The Erebus is also equipped with a passively-regenerating Aegis Shield, which blocks all types of fire (including flamethrower weapons). However, the missiles require a lock-on, and the effects will not bypass energy shields, and do not inflict splash damage. This means that, like all Missile Weapons, it will maneuver around most obstacles. Note that, unlike many other Blackout effects, all of Erebus' Homing Blackout shots are delivered via a explosive-type weapon. Homing Blackout has a fourteen-second cooldown. The effects cannot be negated (unless the enemy is equipped with an Anticontrol module or uses a robot ability that can negate status effects).
